天主教堂

　　也称圣弥爱尔大教堂。位于青岛市市南区浙江路15号，是青岛地区最大的天主教堂和哥特式建筑，也是中国唯一的祝圣教堂，建于1932～1934年，占地面积11480平方米，建筑面积1877平方米。建筑平面呈十字形，教堂主体两翼，各耸一座尖塔，塔高56米，顶端各立有一个4.5米高的巨型十字架。大厅高18米，可纳千人，内部采用意大利文艺复兴时期的装饰，穹顶绘以圣像壁画。1992年，被列为省级文物保护单位。2006年，作为青岛德国建筑群之一，被列为全国重点文物保护单位。
　　Also called St. Michael’s and located at No.15, Zhejiang Road, Shinan District, Qingdao, the Church is the largest catholic church and gothic architecture in Qingdao and the only in episcopal ordination in China, which was built in 1932~1934 and covers a land area of 11,480 m2, with a floorage of 1,877 m2 and a cross-shaped architectural plane. On either wing of the principal part of it is one steeple of 56m high, on which top is a giant cross of 4.5m high. The hall is 18m high, available for one thousand persons seated, with Italian renaissance decorations applied to the interior and eikon fresco drawn on the dome. It was listed into provincial-level protected units of cultural relics in 1992 and into key national ones in 2006 as one of the German architectural complexes in Qingdao.
